AROD still goes #1 right?

With the potential trade, it only makes AROD more attractive right? (position eligibility, massive protection)
Or will the superstar effect lower his numbers? (How many guys in one lineup can hit 45 HR's with 120 RBI?

Still number 1, especially assuming you'll get to play him at 3B or SS.

Yes, he's still #1...however I wouldn't be suprised to see an overall drop in his numbers. He'll still hit 40+ HR's, 100+ rbi, 100+ runs, but in that lineup the wealth will be spread around. Anytime a team has a stacked lineup like that, its tough for one player to have huge stats.

Agreed - no matter whether ha heads to the Bronx or not, as long as he has SS eligibility, A-Rod should go number one in most scoring systems.

A-Rod is A-Rod. The guy is a freakin monster. With 3b being thin this year, and his assumed eligibility at both positions, there is no reason that he is not a number 1 overall pick.

I was a bit sour on Soriano this year anyway (too many k's, too many prolonged slumps, possible confidence problems.) I don't know if this trade hurts him, but I don't think it will help (with the exception of a few more homers in a good park.) Soriano scares me, and if I have the 3rd or 4th overall pick, I'm going to struggle with it. I'd hate to take him and pass up a prior, only to get burnt.
