Former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's assassination was her own fault, the country's president, Pervez Musharraf, said in an interview on U.S. television.

"For standing up outside the car, I think it was she to blame alone -- nobody else. Responsibility is hers," the former general told CBS' "60 Minutes" on Sunday.

I saw the interview and he seemed very defensive about the bombing. He did say repeatedly that it was her own fault and that she should have known better. Also, he looked really uncomfortable talking about the Taliban and their presence in Pakistan. Basically taking no responsibility for their presence in his country.

The In-Laws were over last night so while I saw it, it was on mute so I have no idea what they said. Musharraf's body language was defensive, that much I could tell.

She was extremely accusatory and he was very defensive in return. What did they expect him to do? Admit that he ordered the assassination?
