Fantasy Portion is run through yahoo, and we have a website built for use during the off season along with during.
We started the league last year, it ran well and everyone enjoyed it but some owners had less knowledge than others and we have decided to start over.
The league is run as if you are controlling your own MLB franchise. You start off picking an MLB franchise, and are given a blank team, along with 120mil in salary. Players are then auctioned off to the highest bidder for each player. Each team has a 40 man major league roster along with a 20 man minor league roster. 25 players on your fantasy team (19 starters), 15 players on your inactive roster to be called up if a player is injured or not needed. At the end of the season teams are rewarded/deducted salary amounts based on how well they performed the prior season. Rosters than transfer to the next season and the league takes over a keeper type style, and the league is continued through many seasons.
I am searching for very knowledgeable fantasy players, with a great knowledge of baseball. I am not looking for the casual baseball fan, as the league gets to be very competitive. I also would like to require that all owners must have an active Aol Instant Messenger account that they are regularly online under.
