Why does every mention of the World Series Victory have to be
Boston's second World Series title in four years
Are they trying to make it sound more impressive. Why don't they say what it really is. 2nd in 86 years.
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

Just another sign of why sports has become a business instead of a pastime - we count the value of the ball in terms of dollars. What happened to kids trading sports memorabilia?
If it's obvious it's probably true.
