I have a Harmony 880 remote that I got for Xmas less than two years ago and it stopped working. Of course they are telling me it is out of warranty and I will need to pay for repairs. I had a dock problem before and also one of the buttons broke when I dropped it recently. I also don't like the fact that it has rechargeable batteries.
Can anyone recommend a good universal remote that I don't have to pay a lot of money for? I have a cable box, TV, Wii and a combo dvd/sound system that I use for all sound. I don't want to spend hours trying to program one and also don't want to shell out $200 for a remote. Thanks.

I got one it's called my girlfreind, she cuts on my tv, my radio, my lights, my air, my DVD player, my surround sound, she even cooks, cleans and does other things. But she cost me a load of cash and she never shuts up.....

I was seriously considering getting that very same remote; I think you've persuaded me otherwise. I'm also interested in universal remote ideas.
I actually have a great remote that came with my receiver that works well with my TV, receiver and cable box. But, it lacks two key features. A "page up/page down" control for quickly scrolling through the on-screen guide, and an "info" button that lets you see more about a show on the guide.
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead....
Update... So after contemplating on buying another remote, I decided to contact Logitech and they told me that if I send the remote back that it would be $50 for repairs. So I sent just the remote (no batteries or base station) and waited. They called a few days later to let me know that they would replace it since the IR unit died. I finally got the package and they sent me a brand new remote with new batteries, base station, etc. Pretty psyched now since I have two base stations and two rechargeable batteries (each cost like $35) with a brand new remote for $50.
