I must be alone in this , and I know you guys are going to give me grief but..............
I love it when Schilling talks smack like this , it makes me laugh - a lot.
He's not a prostitute like Canseco or others who are doing it for money. Picture Canseco standing on a street corner showing some leg , saying "You wanna hear about Mac jabbing his butt? Fifty bucks!" That's how low I think he is.

I saw all the caps and thought this was a talkshowhost post.
In all seriousness, I used to think "Good for Curt, standing up for what he believes in." Now I just think he is an idiot who can never get enough of hearing himself talk and/or write. It was funny, my wife follows baseball a little bit (through me) and even she has had enough of Schilling. I saw this last night and when I mentioned it to her she said "Schilling just needs to shut the hell up." I couldn't put it any better myself.

Actually, hell wasn't my first choice.
Well I don't think my wife has quite the trucker's mouth that you do, so those are pretty strong words from her. I guess I could have just said that the BP household agrees with the sentiments of the mighty Lo.

Everybody does. We just pay more attention because he is a famous pitcher. He loves the spotlight, and this demonstrates that. Hey, it's that same quality that makes him an outstanding playoff performer.
Try writing a blog about how you really feel about your work and all your co-workers, see if your employer feels you are entitled to write on any topic you want.
I agree with you that my employer would not be too happy with for this, but as long as I don't say anything profane about my co-workers, I am allowed, by the First Amendment, to criticize anyone - a co-worker, an enemy, or even the President. I agree it doesn't make Schilling look like the best person or even likeable among other players, but I will defend his right to say these things. I might not be too popular at work, but no one can fire me for it; only criticize me.
