I've got four Yahoo ID's and I fully intend to use one of them to create four mock draft leagues all with different scenarios. Check the Classifieds forums for details after Yahoo comes online.
This will give people a chance to run through a couple drafts on Yahoo before their own to see how things stack up. Plus since the league's are created for that one and only purpose there is no feeling guilty when you never check back again after the draft.

Perhaps to settle that perpetual craving and addiction to fantasy baseball, you guys could do something productive, or at least distracting. Learn how to juggle! Surround yourself with people! Master cooking! Or you could add fuel to the fire and watch baseball movies, play baseball video games, or any activity that involves a stick. (Like raking, fishing, etc.) For the simple reason you may pick it up and start pretending to be Albert Pujols or something. Don't worry everyone, the big day will come, until then- I am here with more helpful advice.

This thread is about as funny as it gets. I am embarrassed at how many times a day I check to see if Yahoo is up. Last year, I was the first to announce it to the Cafe. I know it will be a fight, but I intend to defend my title this year. I do happen to have some inside info as to when it will be posted, so as soon as I check it, I will post it here, and retain my title as a pathetic loser.
I even cancelled a date this week so that I can get all set up. I have to teach a class on the "night in question" so I may have to return home to find that all of you have already gotten your fix.

it wouldn't suprise me to see a recent study say the following.
"While the FDA initially thought that crack and heroin were the most addictive drugs a newbie to the "addiction" market has reared it's ugly head and has been reaking havoc to guys everywhere, lets take a look"
Things that are the most addictive:
1. Heroin
2. Crack
3. Smoking Cigarettes
4. Yahoo Fantasy Sports
5. Masturbating (probably not a bad thing unless it gets in the way of your social life)
there you have it. yahoo fantasy sports rank 4th in the world in most addicting things. i can't imagine what people must do without it.

Just load 'er up before the night's games and follow your team through the course of the night. Stat Tracker watching actually classifies as my entertainment on some nights.
Sad ain't it
LOL, I hear ya. I'll fire up stat tracker on the laptop and pretend that I'm actually watching the stupid chick flick that my wife said we just had to see.
