MadDog36 wrote:Well I have an opening in my dynasty league as well and the roster and minors are just about all in place, but I'm getting out of 3 leagues and refilling them with cafe only vets and players.

I would be able to:

--Be in league
--Commish league if needed
--Make league website seperate from actual page/bb on here.
--Hookup league with trophies courteousy of CTC (provided willing some people in the league send me a small amt to help on shipping and handling).

I'd be down but 16-18 not 20. I'd prefer 16.

The guys interested are currently reading the constitution I made for a different league to see some opinions on whether or not we should use it...or some strong variation.

I could co-commish but I don't want to run the league, as I already run two bigger leagues..

And, yes, I can create a forum for this new league without problem.

I have interest in your league. I read the Cup O' Coffee constitution. I see that the league is H2H. Do you set the roster for the week or do you make daily transactions during the week? I guess what I am asking is if teams are managing daily to maximize innings, etc.?

So do you set your lineup daily or weekly?

We've done it daily but with so many teams, maxing innings isn't necessarily a good strategy since deep staffs usually consist of some garbage pitchers...I prefer daily leagues much more over weekly...I tend to lose focus on weekly leagues.

Morning all!

I also greatly prefer daily leagues, but would still play if the collective ownership voted on weekly set ups.

In my experience, daily changes to hitting line ups is great, but daily changes to pitching creates spot start garbage arms. One league i am in has daily changes to hitters, but does not allow daily changes to pitchers (aisde from injury ), I think that works very well.

feeling really pumped about this league, we obviously have some constructive minds already ;-D

I have a question about the contract lengths.
1 player @ 5 years
4 players @ 4 years
5 players @ 3 years
Unlimited @ 2 years
Unlimited @ 1 year

For the first year auction, when are contract lengths determined? During the auction or after?

I was trying to think through this one and it made sense to me that you would not determine the length of the contract until after the auctions were over. (otherwise would you be limited to how many 5 year contracts you offered during the auction, etc.)
