Anyone see the previews for the upcoming season yet? It premieres on Thursday, January 31st. Will this the day it's on every week? Also, do you think the whole season is already filmed or will the writer's strike affect Lost also? Any thoughts on this season?
It's going to be on Thursdays at 9 for this set of episodes, because that's generally considered the best timeslot of the week, and since CSI and The Office don't have any new episodes, it doesn't have any competition.
It was supposed to be a 16 episode season, but they only have 8 done. The producers said that fans probably won't be happy with the way the "season" ends, because the 8th episode isn't set up to be a season finale.
They don't know what's going to happen to the other 8 episodes when the strike is over. Maybe they'll show them next fall, or maybe they'll just add them to Season 5 and make it 24 episodes.
Either way, I can't wait.
Did anyone else check out all the stuff that happened at ComicCon? A new DHARMA Initiative video was shown that was pretty interesting, and they announced that MINOR SPOILERSMichael would be returning this season.
They are indeed going to run with the 8 shows they have in the can now, and with the length this strike has gone, you can expect to have to wait a good while before you get to see 9-16.
The preview was fantastic. In all likelihood, the latter half of Season 4 falls into next Fall at the earliest. As for the writer's strike, I think it won't be until February or March at the earliest for the strike to be resolved.
pumped. finally caught up. Used a netflix, itunes combo to catch up. If anyone does cardio, Lost is a perfect ipod video candidate. at 40 or so minutes sans commercials, it keeps your interest, and if you keep your cardio up without just paying attention, it fools you into a nice cardio workout.
I have forgotten some of the minutae, but what an ending. Unlike the X-Files, which I loved, I actually believe they have it sketched out, so I am so excited. I hope I am right.
