Who has the higher upside? I know Price will get called up sooner and you gotta wonder how they'll make room for Kershaw with Penny, Lowe, Billingsley, Kuroda, and Schmidt locked up through the next year or two.

Kershaw has the higher upside for sure.

Ceiling wise Kershaw. Price is close to realizing his ceiling and also more polished at this point.

I believe Kershaw will be up pitching for LA by Sept 08 at the latest.....possibly in the bullpen(ex. Joba)by late July or August. Kershaw has more upside if he stays in the National League. Price will also be up probably for a cup of coffee in Sept 08 but will not be a factor this coming year. Both are #1 starters but I have to give the edge to Kershaw because he will not have to pitch against Boston, NYY, Toronto or any other the other superior offenses in the AL for more than a series or two for the forseeable future.
