I don't know if I would have paid this much for him.
He has deadly control , he's either going to be excellent or a big bust.
I would have gone for one of 2 other starters from Japan (who I think are free agents) , because no one is talking about them they will be a lot cheaper. And they have the potential to be just as good if not better.
Koji Uehara

Kenshin Kawakami
http://thebaseballcube.com/players/K/Kenshin-Kawakami.shtmlUehara has a career WHIP of 0.99 and a career K/9 of 8.08. For possibly/hopefully 4-5 mil this would be the go for me.
The funniest quote in this signing............................
Retard D-Bag Ned Colletti wrote:Colletti said last week he hadn't seen Kuroda pitch in person, but added: "The right people have seen him. What do I like about him? He's a good pitcher. He has some of the great attributes we admire in a pitcher."
Now Colletti obviously isn't a numbers man , and he hasn't seen him pitch , so what does he like about him????
I think the bolded part means "I have no idea what I just spent my money on."
Retard.
