Obviously this has always had a bad air around it for some since it was announced (his "conflict" that is)

I wouldnt worry about it. Looking back sure maybe MLB shoulda have anticipated this in hindsight.

Considering that Varitek may be on the list then I'm officially retracting my "Mitchell is biased"

Yeah, Tek is the second biggest name that could have been on the list - Papi being the biggest, especially since he's a power hitter, whereas Varitek's strengths are largely intangible.

Yah, but the media really should put out two lists.

1) List of guys who took PEDs regularly to improve their game such as Clemens; and
2) List of guys who have been linked to PEDs to shorten their recovery time from injury such as Vaughn and Pettite.

First guys are cheaters. Second guys are.... too bad.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

It cost about $25 million to produce this piece of garbage as it turns out was headed by a person who quite possibly has a conflict of interest. Another huge blunder by the idiot of idiots..BUD SELIG.

What did Selig have to do with this? This was a congressional investigation. All Selig did was say that they would do whatever they could to cooperate.

I really dont understand all the hatred towards Selig I've been reading lately - am I missing something?

I still think Nomar used steroids even though he was left off the list...maybe he was just smart enough to not write a check with his name on it... :-°
