Clemens named in Mitchell report

Postby kentx12 » Thu Dec 13, 2007 11:44 am

Just saw Peter Gammons on ESPN saying that Clemens had been named in the report. Is this suprising to anyone?

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Clemens was in the Top 3 of most expected names on the report.

Maybe so, but that doesn't mean he hasn't gotten essentially a free pass over the last few years while Barry has been crucified. Both in the national press and here. But what can you do?

Clemens has gotten a free passover the years compared to what Barry's been through.

Makes you wonder if Brett Favre and John Smoltz haven't imbibed, they're both geriatric studs.
