Getting Tejeda was not so bad (Mitchell or no Mitchell) but losing Albers and patton may hurt although they may not be among the best MLB pitching prospects ..they were ranked 2/3 Among astro prospects Oswalt, W Rodriguez ,Backe , Guttierez., Paulino.Far from a winning staff trade Burke/Loretta for a pitcher??how good can they pitcher be?? get Jason Marquis??..will they go after OTSUKA to spell Qualls as closer?/ Interesting to see what happens They should have gone after a good starter LENNY M

What good starter are would you be expecting them to get for what they traded away or for Burke/Loretta? There wasn't really anything worth note in the free agent market and if the offers the Yankees and Red Sox made for Santana they weren't even in the running there.

WHAT SORT OF SP DO YOU THINK THEY WILL GET FOR LORETTA/BURKE? IT WILL NOT BE FUN TO SEE MARQUIS GETTING SMASHED ALL OVER TEXAS EVERY FIVE DAYS.
