This list has been around for a while, but yeah, it's awful. Kurt Cobain at 10? Seriously?

Slash and Buckethead don't even make the list?

No list is perfect, but I think this one is much more accurate: http://digitaldreamdoor.com/pages/best_newguitar.html

I like that one a lot more. Still some things I would change about it, but it's better than Rolling Stone's. :-P

Rolling Stone's list is terrible. Having to scroll all the way down to 82 to find David Gilmour loses them all credibility for me. And Jack White at 17? :-?

No Slash? I mean he is not the best but he is pretty darn good.

If you guys ever listen to Ozzy early in his solo career or Quiet Riot, you know how good Randy Rhoads is, and you know how big of a sham it is that he's #85.

Like Rolling Stone knows anything about music. They didn't even list Dimebag Darrel. :-t
