Easy on the caps lock.

But I would veto it if that trade was made in my league. Cabrera is way more valuable than the other two.

In many fantasy leagues, and a couple I play in, it would depend entirely on the salary and contract status of the players in the deal.

How so? Maybin is the #3 prospect in baseball right now I believe. He has all the skills to be a great 5-tool player. And miller is certainly a useful pitcher. I can see how you would want to get something that would be useful for your team this year, but i certainly wouldn't say this trade is a vetoable. If you are goign to trade m-cab for something that would be useful down the road this is probably the best you could have done...

In a redraft league maybe, in a keeper or dynasty no.

agreed, also the other 4 prospects you failed to mention do have some promise.... De La Cruz is one who throws 100mph as well.

i think you would be drastically over valuing youth if allowed this trade in a league. i would veto and i dont say that very often.

on a side note Hanley Ramirez was often looked at as over rated a couple years ago as a prospect. i wonder how many would have vetoed the beckett for hanley trade? :-?

It is probably vetoable depending on the league. In leagues were contract status is not an issue, it is very vetoable. M-Cab is still very young and is a first round pick for years to come. Whereas Maybin won't contribute much for the at least a year or two (he really needs to cut down on those k's to improve his batting average).
