I've done both FAAB and 2 days with waiver priority. For a daily league, FAAB seems kinda hinky.

Regarding free agent pickups...my league has always done it as follows:

1)after the auction, any player who was available in the auction, but not on a team, is available first come, first served.

2)any player dropped by a team must clear a 72 hour waiver period, during which managers use free agent dollars ($100) per year(not actual $) to bid on them.

3)any player clearing the 72 hours without a bid is again first come, first served.

4)any player new to the league (via trade, call up from minors or return from injury) must also pass the 72 hour waiver

This has been very successful for my league for years running.

$30 - $50 entry with no transaction fees
ML player pool (makes a more inviting league for a newer type of roto player)
If an NL or AL only league, not more than 10 teams (see above)
Live auction, in person not online, $260/23 players (draft day is the best day of the season)
Snake draft would be acceptable.
Standard 5x5 (I like OB% in place of BA, but that's just me)
Roto scoring, not H2H or points.
Standard rosters

I definetely want in. The above sounds good to me. I don't want to spend more than $50 since I am in a couple other leagues.

And yes, draft day is the best day of the year! Keep me informed. Joe

So far I've talked to 5 people who have interest in a league, which I find very encouraging. So including myself that's 6. If you haven't gotten in touch and are interested in a league, please shoot me an email me.

Thanks,
Rich

I think I'm up to 8 players now, so this really has a strong chance of happening. I've written up a rough constitution, still working on it before I send it ot the people who I've been in touch with about it though. If interested, please email me.

Written a constitution, sent it off to app. 10 people, so hopefully this is a go. If you're interested, please contact me.
