Not too familiar with Archie, but I Keaton was amusing.

Who is Archie Bunker?

They don't have whatever show he's on here.

It was a 1970s show, All in the Family and then changed to Archie Bunker's Place.

Thanks Tavish they made me LOL :-D
I love 1970s comedies because they are so politically incorrect.
Having grown up in an over-the-top PC place like New Zealand it is like a breath of fresh air. ;-D ;-D

Australia had something similar called Kingswood Country , except the main character was more dim-witted.

The thing about All in the Family is that it was basically a one of a kind here in America. The 1970s, which covers the majority of the show's run, was full of sappy crap comedies. The shows in competing time slots were things like The Brady Bunch, Bewitched, Happy Days, The Odd Couple, and Maude. Archie Bunker was like having South Park on one network while everyone else is showing Full House and Saved By the Bell.

Archie Bunker, though Keaton was a great character himself.

Family Ties was a great show but this isn't close IMHO. Archie.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

All in the Family is one of my all-time favorite shows. Was quite controversial and ground-breaking for its time and Archie managed to be funny yet profound.
