Tough matchup for the Parkinsons-afflicted Canadian but I had to vote for Bunker. I don't remember the show very much myself but I remember that my Dad loved Archie and I can remember watching him roar with laughter at the things he would say.

Archie Bunker and its not even close. The most socially relevant character in TV history and still was incredibly funny. Judging by the way the rest of the contest is going I would expect him to lose in the next round to some guy who says random things 5 times an episode on a show that has been on the air for two seasons.

well archie in the 8-9 matchups is a bad seeding, to have to face a number 1 seed in the 2nd round, but he gets lucky to face beavis, who shouldnt be any higher than a 10 seed, so i think his chances are good to move on.
