So if you are in need of a SS still and he is the top of your list are you gonna pass on him? Or just wait a round from where you have him projected and still take him.
I personally like him next year. I have him doing about what you have.
I like him as well but I'm a little more reserved for next year....

I actually like Stephen Drew alot next year. I watched about 140 D'Backs games this year and Drew is solid. His swing is gorgeous and the ball really flies off of his bat. He turned it on the last month and basically carried the team (I am at work so I cant pull up the numbers), and they are slightly skewed because of his horrendous first half. What I am getting at is that he just seemed slightly "off" the entire season, his line drives would get caught, fly balls stop a foot short of the fence etc. He didn't have bad at bats, he works the count very well for a young player and doesn't strike out an excessive amount. I think he has a great year in 2008 and honestly his 2007 wasn't as bad as it seemed.

I'm not sure why...but it seems that his problem was at home last year.
2006 Home-.364 Away-.273
2007 Home-.218 Away-.257
His MinorLB numbers lead me to believe he is legit...I think he will be a big bargain in 2008

@Yoda- I'm not saying Drew's a bad last round flier, just that I'm not going to depend on him as a starter. Players like him and Upton have a lot going for them outside of great minor league numbers, but ARZ prospects in general play in a LOT of hitter's parks, and I think this makes them look better than they are.
