Moneyball Bummer

I am a baseball fanatic! I am NOT an avid reader, except for the Bible. For my birthday I received a copy of the book "Moneyball". I was enjoying SO MUCH until about two-thirds through it, about 35 pages are missing. Since each chapter builds to the next one, I am SO disgusted! Now I know why I am not an avid reader. This is enough to make one quit. Has anyone else had this unfortunate experience with "Moneyball"? Thanks.

I've never had an issue with a book where pages were missing. But I have have about 30 pages repeated. It is a function of who ever the printer is, not Moneyball itself.

lol what does that have to do with reading. ask for the receipt from the person you got the book from and return it for a different copy. no big deal.

I don't think the book store would have a huge problem with you returning a "broken" book.

I would suggest never reading another book, it just seems like too much trouble. Or just stick to the bible, that book is always published in entirety

I had the same problem...took it back and the clerk said if I read those pages he would have to kill me..

Just kidding...take it back...great book!
