Lowell too high? Might be, but I don't see why he can't duplicate what he did last year, possibly even better those numbers with a solidified top of the order and Manny and Papi healthy.
It's possible but he is on the wrong side of 30 and his 05, 06 seasons were pretty sub par. I personally wouldn't rank him in the top 10 but if everyone agreed then we wouldn't have these debates.

Had to go with 11 here. ARAM is likely to be in the top 5 next year - he's my sleeper
A-Ram as your sleeper? You better not sleep to long on him, you are probably one of the few who have him out of the top 5 little off ranked out of the top 10.
There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.
I wouldn't mind getting stuck with Hank Blalock next year. He finished strong coming off the shoulder injury, and if the rib/shoulder injury is fixed, he has the talent for a huge year.
I like where everyone ranks Zimmerman. However, the hamate injury doesn't affect everyone's power, so who knows if it will affect him or not. I read somewhere (mlb.com I think) that he was feeling it throughout the season, so maybe his power output was already affected?

Thats what I was thinking. A guy who annually hits around .300 with 30 bombs and 100 RBI will not be overlooked despite the sub par HR numbers last season.

No love for alex gordon in peoples top 10? Personally If i miss out on the top 6 (arod, mcab, wright, braun, atkins, aram) I'd rather take gordon late in the draft than draft someone like beltre who has little to no upside. I'm actually surprised anyone has beltre in their top 10.

I can't.

I'm surprised this is the first time Gordon's been mentioned in this thread. I too would wait a couple extra rounds and draft Gordon instead of Beltre, Zimmerman, Lowell...and if Gordon's gone, there are a few other players who could surprise, EE (in wkelly's top 10), Longoria, Fields, LaRoche to name a few. Yeah, I like the young players with upside.
