I know anti-Yankee fans are hating this, but this is a great thing George did. Months back, I posted that George needed to get angry and respond to that Schilling deal. He just did.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Do I know you and have I talked baseball with you???

I'm not a huge Yankees fan, but I like the fact that they use the no salary cap in Baseball to their advantage. Every M.L.B. team is owned and run by multi-millionaires, but some would rather not spend their money so freely, because they don't have a winning attitude like the Yankees administration does. Boston had the first shot at A-Rod, and they blew it, because they were being to stingy about spending money. Remember you have to be willing to spend money, to make money, and the way to make money in the Majors is to win World Championships.
i know that you have to spend money to win, but there comes a point where you have to say "enough is enough." The yankees have long since passed that point
Lets Go patsox!
yay! sox win!!!

This is completely true, I dont like the Yankees for the sole reason of being an A's fan, but you cant be a Sox fan and get mad at George for doing what Theo was too CHEAP to do...
Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...
Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

I agree....I'm no Yankee fan, but give Georgie-Porgie credit....he doesn't hoarde his money and put a crap team on the field.
Plus, look at it this way, if it wasn't for the Yankees, who would we all root against???
