South Park absolutely destroyed Family Guy, to the point I can't enjoy it as much anymore, but if I were to vote I'd go Peter. I will not vote though because I'm not that familiar with MASH, and it's not like Peter needs my help.

South Park is a better show and Family Guy has really gone downhill the past couple years. However, Peter Griffin makes the show and he is funny, so I'm goin with Peter

South Park is a good show, and it was funny when they made fun of Family Guy, but I don't see why it makes the show anything less. I think I read this in a thread somewhere else and I can't remember who said it, if you didn't know that Family Guy was based on the random cut scenes and jokes then you really weren't paying attention. I know their jokes are random and often don't fit in with the story line, but who cares it doesn't make it any less funny.
