Mayweather vs Hatton

Postby Tavish » Wed Nov 28, 2007 1:37 am

This should be a really interesting fight and end up being a better fight than Mayweather/DeLaHoya. It should be the same type of strategy coming from the two corners. In all reality Mayweather should be able to run rings around Hatton and dominate him with speed. But if Hatton's flail away then hold style can keep FMJ off-balance I could see Hatton wearing him down after 7-8 rounds.

Who do you got? Unless there is a major cut, I'll take FMJ in a unanimous decision.

I'm always for the guy fighting the Manchester City fan. ;-)

Shame it hasn't gotten the hype it probably deserves. I think Floyd's speed approach should be enough to overcome Hatton. I have to admit some part of me wants to root for Hatton.

Hatton is really fun to watch, but Mayweather is a much better pure boxer.

I'm rooting for Hatton, but I think Mayweather wins it.

For anyone that follows both sports, it's a bummer that they put the Guida v Huerta fight on at the same time. I am going to buy the Mayweather v Hatton fight and watch it on delay. Anyway, I should probably be rooting for Mayweather but a part of me would like to see Hatton win. It would be a huge upset and with that said, if I bet my money would be on Mayweather who has a huge advantage technically.

It's gonna be Pretty Boy Floyd in a unanimous decision.

I don't think Hatton is fun to watch. He's a smart boxer and very gritty but doesn't really put on a show like a lot of guys do.

I think Hatton will just clutch Mayweather the entire fight.

He's certainly entertaining in this video.
