That, and the "Good Idea, Bad Idea" and "Wheel of Morality" bits.

Good call on the Good Idea Bad Idea bits. I remember there was one Animaniacs episode where they lumped a bunch of 15-20 second segments and here it is:

Lion-O def SpongeBob? Really? What's so bleeping memorable about Lion-O? How many of you have even seen Thundercats, besides the "vintage" logo shirts at your local Wal-Mart? Thundercats was on TV when I was growing up, I'm a senior citizen in here, and I still voted for SpongeBob. This entire poll has lost all credibility :^

Get a grip.
A lot of people who were 6-12 y.o in that era have nostalgic feelings for all of those cartoons.
And to a lot of people Spongebob is a piece of (expletive) compared to them. ;-D

Well I'm a legitimate voter. I grew up with the Thundercats and still have the toys in storage. :-b

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I am the senior citizen here - Sponge Bob rocks - most of you are too young to understand. :-D

I've watched both of them. Thundercats when I was growing up and Spongebob with my kids and Spongebob doesn't hold a candle to Lion-O.

I grew up on Thundercats. I recently bought the season 1 dvd. I didn't realize how deliberately slow they talk. Almost like it's for dramatic effect (probably to make the episode last longer). Also, did you know that Cliff Huxtable's dad from the Cosby Show does the voice of Panthro? Cool!

QFT... I mean, how many other cartoon characters have been allowed to belt out a boisterous "Hooooooooooooo!" every single episode of the show?
