When my town started recycling, they made us separate glass bottles by color and plastic by whether it was a 1 or a 2. :-t

We don't have to separate. Last state I lived in we just had to separate paper, glass and paper. That was a big enough nuisance. I doubt I would mess with it if I had to know the difference between 1 and 2 plastic.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Our recycling service won't take our glass bottles anymore. We have to take them to a center instead now. Plastic only.

In Maryland, we have garbage pickup twice a week...one of those days is for recycling - glass, plastic, paper. I wonder what really happens with all the "recyclables".

I'm not sure if you watch Dirty Jobs but they have an episode that covers it. :-D
