Winter League Baseball

Postby Steve-o » Wed Oct 31, 2007 10:16 pm

I admit it. I don't know much about the winter leagues. About all I know is that there is the Hawaii Winter baseball, Arizona Fall League, and the Caribbean League. Is there any rhyme or reason as to which prospect goes where? Do more than just prospects participate in the leagues? I remember watching the caribbean world series (in Spanish - which I don't understand) and seeing Ramon Hernandez win the MVP, so I guess pretty much anyone can play. I also remember some fuss about Jose Reyes playing in the Caribbean league a few years back. Can anyone send some light on this for me?

Thanks.
In my fridge: Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS), Central Waters Peruvian Morning, Bell's Batch 10,000, Dale's Pale Ale, Capital Brewery Amber, New Glarus Moon Man, and Guinness.
