Are you dressing up this Halloween? If so, can you top this?

At my high school, the Seniors dress up and have a parade through the school. I went as Buckethead. The people who know who he is thought it was really cool, but most people didn't know him so they just thought it was really bizarre.

I have to be at an event tonight that requires I dress up, so I'll be wearing the same costume I've worn for the last 7 years or so whenever I've had to dress up:

Also, I'm interviewing a couple people from a local group of paranormal investigators today, should be good times.

My kids are super hyped for halloween and have talked about nothing else for a week now. My son is going to be a vampire at school and then Scooby Doo for trick or treating tonight. My daughter is the Little Mermaid and then a princess.

My friend is pretty religious and he wasn't going to let his kids dress up for halloween b/c of the pagan roots. When I heard this I cussed him out and now his kids are going to be trick or treating with mine. Not only was he wrong (some say that halloween has religious roots - you can debate this one to death) but you don't want your kids to be left out of all of the fun and blame the baby Jesus do you?

Have a happy Halloween everyone! ;-D

I think I should dress my son up as the little doll Jigsaw makes in the Saw movies, complete with tricycle and the laugh. }:-)

:-b I had an ultra-Catholic algebra teacher back in high school (which is oddly a Catholic school) who also thought Halloween wasn't OK for the same exact reasons. So, instead of greeting everyone "Happy Halloween", he said "Happy All Saints Day". :-b It was quite amusing to see his reaction to one of my friends who bathed himself in blood. :-D

Happy Halloween everyone. I haven't dressed up for Halloween in ages because all I have to do is put on a ninja outfit and I'll look like Bruce Lee and that gets old. Anyone actually dressing up for Halloween?
