You could go to any city in the world and you'll find answers like those. What are the demographics of the area they're in?
Anybody that judges a country's intelligence based on some cherry picked responses from people on the street are just as stupid as the ones getting the questions wrong.
Every country has idiots. Granted, we have more than most, but we also have over 300 million people. England has 50 million.

It is obviously cherry picked and I believe that the correspondent is a well known comedian, but it was still an entertaining watch. The dumb answers are funny, but the scary part I was referring to were the sentiments at the end; the blindness acceptance of authority. I don't know of many people who don't know that Israelis are Jewish, but I do know many who probably support an attack on Kyrgyzstan.

Totally on board with JSB here. What I would like to see are ALL the responses they got, and/or know how many responses they got before they had enough to put that little thing together.
That kind of comedy is OK I suppose, but really, do they think they're NOT living in that same glass house?
It would have been great if he followed it up with a series of interviews with random Australians who would have gotten all of the answers right obviously.

Not if they went to the same sort of gun-happy hillbilly town over here. We have toothless women with 10 kids as well. Obviously they went to Dubya country to record that.

Not trying to be cute here, but I think that guy is Australian. Assuming he's English plays into the whole concept of the bit.
I think Americans need to travel more. Even here in NYC, people are painfully limited, thinking there's nothing worth seeing outside of this city. And Americans, as a whole, think that there's nothing worth seeing outside of our country. Hyperbole, of course, but not too far from the truth.
You go to Europe or Asia, people there are so much more well-traveled. Everyone in Europe has been everywhere else in Europe. Everyone in Asia has been everywhere in Asia as well as Australia/New Zealand.
