Did anyone really expect anything different? Basketball isn't baseball, it's not simply a bunch of individuals needing to perform well on their own in order for the team to succeed. More than any other sport, you need to have chemistry, and Lebron, Wade, and Bosh played all of what, 3 minutes together in preseason? Miami will probably hit its stride in April and go into the playoffs playing great basketball. Next year is when they'll be able to challenge the 72 win mark, not this season.
if anything I question the ability of the Heat and their massive egos with a rookie head coach. Spolestra will have to work hard to earn their respect, despite what they say publicly. Could lead to some rougher than expected times.
Nice to see the Celts beat the "best" team in the world to come back and lose to the worst.

I thought the Raptors were playing the Knicks tonight.

.
Wade and Lebron are two of the most unselfish players in the game and that will rub off on Bosh. Both of those players have a team first attitude (which is why it was surprising Lebron left Cleveland in the first place) so I don't see a problem here. It might take them a few weeks to jell but once they do, watch out. I think it's going to be a ton of fun to watch. I do wish the league wasn't as friendly as it is.
As for Spolestra, if the Heat are .500 at the beginning of December, Riley takes over.
What a great game. The Heat are blowing a lot of games late, and they're like 0 for a billion in game-winning or game-tying situations. Like against the Magic tonight (terrible playmaking (Bosh shoots threes now?!) and unnecessarily difficult shots by DWade), the Knicks (LeBron getting rejected by Amare), and the Bulls (game-tying shot by LeBron literally a foot away from the rim).
