Rockies World Series Tickets

I go to the University of Kansas but my family lives in Denver. I was thinking of driving up this weekend to go to the ticket lottery at the stadium on Monday morning. I also know that you can buy the tickets online which would save me having to drive up until later in the week. Does anyone with experience buying world series tickets know which option would give me better odds for getting tickets?

Well online you have the chance (big chance) that the coloradorockies.com server will explodipate and stop responding and somehow only scalpers and ticket brokers will get every ticket.

On the other hand I have to work at 10:00 AM on mondays (cause I have a job stupid rockies management)

And even showing up at the stadium you may not get to be part of the lottery (oh and you have to lineup at 7:30)

SO I'm gonna try to go online and get everyone I know in different states to do the same.

Otherwise I'll have to get killed the scalpers selling them for 8000000 million billion dollars

On the Rockies website it says there will be no overnight camping allowed at Coors Field. Does this mean that basically people will be waiting right outside Coors Field all night? As far as the online sales go, can you order any ticket online? Or is it just certain sections?

it just means they wont let anyone camp on site. they cant stop anyone from doing it any other way.

After spending all afternoon trying to get them, they announced that the traffic was too much and most of the tickets didn't get sold. They'll be announcing a new plan soon.

They're going on sale online tomorrow at noon. That works out great for me since it'll be 2:00 ET which is when I get home from school.

Although I should have 4 tix's to game 5 for 1000.
