King Felix ahead of guys like Smoltz, Carmona, Kazmir and Young? I know he has a lot of potential but the guy is a roller coaster...so frustrating after having owned him this year.
Oh, and no, I don't think Billingsley goes for 200 K's in '08...that's one hell of a plateau and I don't think he's there yet especially since he won't get the necessary innings to have the chance as somebody else already mentioned. He's a lock for 165-175 though.
Yeah, no doubt, they aren't how I would rank them either, but I threw CBS' ranking in their as a barometer for discussing Bills (and others). I see him outperforming several listed ahead of him.
Kind of hard to say where Billingsley would be ranked in this lot seeing how the rankings are besmirched here and there and everywhere. But what I would say is that I'd take Billingsley over Pettitte, Schilling, Ollie Perez, D-Train, Jered Weaver, and Wang. Yes, even over Penny.

I'd say around the 5th round.
I'm probably one of the bigger Bills fans on this board, but I'd say that's a bit early. I'd like to see him continue to get his WHIP down and improve his pitch efficiency. He should be in the top 10 SP discussion though...
I'm pleasantly surprised with Bills' K/9 even if it has started to settle a bit (he had 4 K in 7 2/3 vs. WSH last time out for example). Seems like he's really acing the movement of his offspeed stuff on top of improving his control and pitch efficiency from where it was earlier in the year. Also, I think the velocity on his fastball is firmly in the mid-90's (95-97mph) at a more consistent rate from where it was in his first two years.
That said, I don't see how Billingsley can't be a top 15 pitcher and I think he'll be drafted where Dan Haren is taken usually.
