Postby Mookie4ever » Tue Oct 09, 2007 11:51 am

and I have a suspicion that after the answer is given somebody tell us that this is an urban myth.

I don't think it is a myth.

We are the three stubborn counties who do not use the Metric System.

Three nations have not officially adopted the International System of Units as their primary or sole system of measurement: Liberia, Myanmar and the United States.

I see who our true allies in the war against terror are now. ;-7

In a really weird conicidence, I read somewhere else this morning that there were 4 countries that aren't metric. I'll check that book when I get home to see which one is disputed.

Maybe the common person in the country doesn't use the metric system, but I can assure that the top engineers, physicists, and chemists in the USA use the metric system nearly exclusively.

What do Canada, Myanmar, and Burma all have in common?

We're all hopelessly addicted to the franklymarver blogspot?
We all know that Myanmar and Burma are the same country?
I give up. What?
