Escobar's not slow. I could see him being useful as a MI in shallow leagues, or a SS in deeper leagues. He could hit .300, with maybe 5-10 HR and I'll say 10-30 SB. He's pretty fast; the SB number is going to depend on many things, especially where he hits in the order. If he hits 8th, expect it to be closer to the 10 range. If he hit's 8th, the SB number is going to be lower. Also, I think he could steal more bags if he tries more and if he improves his base-stealing skills.

He had terrible SB numbers in the minors (14 SBs in 28 attempts). If he's getting thrown out half the time running on minor league pitchers and catchers, I wouldn't expect anywhere near 30 SBs from him next year. Saying he'll steal 10 bases may even be pushing it.

I think Escobar has the speed to steal 30, if he works on his SB skills. Will he get more than 10-15 steals? Probably not. But he has the potential to get to 25-30 if he learns how to steal bases and bats in the top 2 for the Braves.
