Nice to know our money orders can be so easily forged.
Its not that hard to believe. In many cases the counterfeits don't even have to be all that good to fool the victim, they just have to be good enough to make a trusting fool believe they are real. Most people have no sort of training on how to detect a forgery so they simply assume they are worth the value printed. The really good ones will even fool a bank employee who has countless hours of instructions on how to spot a fake money order or check.
Can you PM me the email address they sent the email from? I like to play with these punks and in the end let them know what I think.

I got the same junk when I was selling my laptop on ebay. I went to the community forums there and posted the email. They told me about the whole Nigerian scam thing. Punks.
To piggyback on Yoda's thread, I saw an ad on Craigslist for a little side work. I think it is a scam, but I haven't seen it before. here is the ad:
Craigslist wrote:I'm a real estate investor in need of a few reliable individuals to help me with my gorilla marketing campaign. I'll provide you a list of 10-20 addresses. You drive by and place a note on the door, snap a photo, and email me the photos and I'll give you $5 per home you visit. Sound simple enough?
I figure I email him the pictures then never hear from him again. Any other ways I might get wrung out here?

Gorilla marketing? Do you have to dress up in a monkey suit to go around and take photos?
Oh wait he meant guerilla. I think the risk is you doing all the work and him not paying you. However, I can see him asking you to do 10 addresses initially and pay you then once he has you, then give you a 100 addresses then stiff you.

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
