Hey Tampa fans, is this guy going to get more ABs next year? He really had a solid second half... .285/.340//475 8hr and 31rbi in 179 post all-star break ABs. Could be a solid C sleeper next year as it seems the catcher crop keeps getting worse and worse, IMO.

Navarro is slated to be the number 1 catcher for the Rays at the moment, although I wish they would make a push for Pudge if he is let go. Navarro did look much better offensively in the second half after getting with our hitting coach. He is supposed to have gap power that will get him doubles, but not many home runs. He is in a good lineup and may get runs and RBI.

I like him as well but is he going to be anything more than a 250-300AB guy next year? I'd be curious of the plans with him as well.

I'm planning on drafting him to back up Mauer. He's playing right now in the most important games for the Cubs. I see him getting much more playing time than Kendall.

i really dont see him starting as much, i see them trying to bring in a veteran to work with the younger pitchers a bit more but still work him in there at times.
