I personally am against instant replay for baseball. I think part of baseball is the human aspect provided by the umpires. It could also be the start of a slippery slope that entirely computerizes the strikezone.
I could live with using it for homeruns and foulballs when the umpires are simply not in position to make the correct call.
in general I feel as though the umpires in MLB do a wonderful job and are 99% correct in the calls they make.

The only reason I would vote for instant replay is to hold the umpires more accountable for blatantly blown/bad calls. On scoring plays especially.

I don't care about the human element when it comes to officials. I want to see the correct call made. Give each manager one challenge per game with the condition of getting another challenge if the call is overturned. Have a fifth umpire in a booth somewhere who's only job is to look at replays and signals to the umps on the field whether the call should be overturned or not. Anything besides balls and strikes should be challengeable.
Most of the time that process should take like 60-90 seconds - about the same amount of time the game is stopped when a manager comes out to argue a call, and MUCH less time than it takes if the umps gather. So that means the correct call is made and it doesn't slows down the game. Just because replay takes too long in football doesn't mean it has to.

No way it should be used. It always bothers me in other sporting events when officials take forever to look at instant replay. Baseball is a slow enough game as it is, don't slow it down further.

I'm for it. Not on strike/ball calls, I think that should be left up to the umpire. But I think calls at the plate or calls on the bases, and to look at fair or foul should be reviewable. I think if we had a limit like in football where we had 1 or 2 challenges for each team per game it would help the game

Agreed. Strikes/Balls is a bit rediculous. I'm for replay on everything else.
