i'd have to say Oswalt even though he had all those groin problems.

Oswalt? If your going with safest, then take Mulder. Johnson is the best pitcher, and makes Oswalt look like a walking ER

Personally I say Schmidt. He wins at least 17 imo with about a 2.5 era and at least 180 k's.

I just see Oswalt with a slightly higher era.

We heard before that Oswalt's groin was completely healed and it kept flaring up - it doesn't seem to be going away and it even needed surgery - sadly, it might be a chronic problem.

I said Mulder just because he has the great track record and the hip was a freak thing that is supposed to be completely healed.

Maybe I should have said Schmidt. He has been getting better every year and is no flash in the pan.

Toss up Mulder and Schmidt.

I would go with Schmidt.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Randy Johnson, all are injury prone so I'd go with the best ability on this one.

I'd say Mulder than Schmidt. Neither have chronic injuries like Os or Brown, both are plenty younger than Johnson. Also, their injuries didn't seem that serious.
