I got it, played some online games and it feels great, real smooth, haven't noticed any kinds of bugs, I'm waiting on venturing into the campaign though as I think I'll probably arrange a time for me and friends to all hop on the 4 player co-op this weekend.
I've got the game, however my 360 decided it was time for it's life to end (RIP December 25, 2005 - September 14, 2007). Oddly enough it wasn't the dreaded RROD, but the black screen of death. It just arrived at the repair center a few days ago so I'm hoping to get it back in three weeks or so.
From what I've seen and read, Halo 3 looks great and I can't wait to play it.
I played it over the weekend and it was fun but I guess I just don't understand the hype.
Counter Strike (PC) is probably the longest game I've ever played and I still play it after 3 years for an hour or two a day. I don't think I could say the same about Halo 3 but I guess it must be just me since millions of people play it constantly.

I played Halo (any of them) 3 last night for the first time ever, for about 2 hours on Xbox Live with a few of my buddies. Like Yoda, I just don't understand the hype. I don't plan on ever playing again, really -- maybe I will, but I'm certainly not going to run out and buy the game, nor do I understand how people dedicate the hours they do to playing it. But, to each their own.
yeah its definitely a fun game, but playing on xbox live, theres only like 4 boards to play on, and i dont see it having much replay-ability. but it is fun once in awhile.
