About firing... I said this earlier. Umps rely on integrity and respect to maintain control of the game. Winters gave up his integrity with this stunt, and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the players no longer respect him. So what good is an MLB ump if he has no integrity and has lost the respect of the players?

Cut him loose.

don't you see the difference between a manager barking at an ump "that f#ck*ng call is a piece of sh#t (which wont get a manager or player ejected) and an UMPIRE during play calling a player a "f*ck#ng piece of sh#t" ? if you don't then you just don't understand the dynamics of umpire/player relationship
