I just heard about this whole thing this morning. ESPN's video shows enough of it. Bradley says he didn't do anything wrong in a separate video. Of course, he goes on to get hurt, which is a tragic ending to this whole flap.
I don't know... Seems to me like he's actually getting harassed here, but it's hard to tell.
The first base coach indicated that the umpire was completely antagonizing Bradley. From everything I saw, Bradley did nothing wrong (typical pouting, bickering, etc.) but the umpire kept needling him until he exploded (which we all know from Milton is NOT a tough task).

Someone tell me how the ump is to blame for Milton overreacting, causing his manager to restrain him, in the process twisting him around and tweaking his knee.
I see them both jarring at eachother on the video...perhaps Milton moreso.
I freaking hate MLB umps. They all need to be put into their place by the league. This clearly was the ump antagonizing Bradley more than anything else. I don't understand how they are allowed to talk crap and then if the player reacts, then they can just toss the player. Where the hell is the logic in that? That ump's actions should be reviewed and he should be punished.

Even if the umpire was antagonizing Bradley he should at least attempt to show some sort of restraint. I know Bradley doesn't enjoy being the better man in most cases.

I agree but even the first base coach turned to the ump. He was antagonizing Bradley. Plus not knowing what was said, I think all you guys are just judging Bradley without knowing the facts. Just my opinion.

Obviously Bradley needs to be responsible for his own actions and its no one's fault but his own that he hurt his knee... all that aside, if the umpire was taunting him and trying to get under his skin, especially knowing he has a short fuse, then he should be reprimanded.
