I must say that after the last couple of days, the updates for my Y! leagues have been earlier than they've been all season. So, thanks magic Yahoo fairy... try not to desert us come Monday morning!

So to fill you in to whatever degree I'm able...

The problem you guys noted during this week was caused by a problem outside of our control. Which doesn't do any of you any good, and I can only assure you we weren't too amused by it either. While we were waiting for that to clear itself up, we did some performance work to try to make sure leagues would update as soon as the issue did clear itself up. So you aren't imagining things; in the days since then, leagues have been updating sooner, because while we no longer are having the external problem, we're still benefitting from the performance work we did.

Oh - and someone commented on waivers. On any given day, no matter how slow or quick we are, waivers won't clear until leagues are updated, since leagues have the option of setting the waiver order to be tied to league standings. Need to calculate the standings first before we can do waiver claims.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Seriously. There were a bunch of us scrambling and cursing to try to get your leagues updated as soon as we were able under the circumstances.
