5.- 1995: BRAVES 4 - 2 INDIANS

Hands down the best. Well for me at least..

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Many people forget - whoever bunted won that game. If Mo goes to first on that bunt instead of throwing it away, Yankees win.

Maybe it is because the series was so long ago that you all have forgoten it's "magic." The Twins '91 4-3 series win was the best. Puckett saving the game with that homer grab. Iron Jack going the distance to win it in 10, shrugging off manager TK's decision that he should come out of the game.

We all have our favorites, and a lot of it has to do with our own hometown/state team being part of it, but I firmly believe this is the best series of the past decade+. At the VERY LEAST, it was the best game 7.

ok the braves were robbed in 1991 because of that stupid fan control guy in the stupid dome. if u havnt heard the story it goes as told, the fan operator at the metrodome would turn on the fan during twins at bats to blow and then turn it off when the braves would come up to bat. if u remeber kirby puckett hit a huge homerun in that series that lost it for the braves and the homerun didnt go very far so the fan pushed it over. since i cant remember the 95 world series that well because i was only 5 that one cant be my favorite, but the greatest one ive ever seen and can remember was the 2001 world series where the dynasty of the yankees came to a rest.

Actually Jeters bobble didn't help either... Bottom line.. Yanks Loose, and DIAMONDBACKS ARE THE WORLD CHAMPIONS ;-D

PS. If Brenly doesn't bring in BY Kim... The Yanks don't even make it back to AZ...(So you got lucky to begin with)

IF, IF, IF.......... DBACKS "2001" Champs... :-D

I have to say that the 2001 world series was the best series I've seen. The momentum kept switching and you never really knew what was going to happen.

My favourite series was the Jays beating the Phillies. It was a great series and the final game came down to the bottom of the ninth. And the series ended with a walk off homer. Probably the only time anyone in this message board has ever seen that. Plus, it's the only time in history one wolrd series victory meant being world champs for 2 years.
Barry Bonds for US president.

2001 for me
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis
