Lowell was not drafted in either one of my 12 team roto leagues this year, though he was picked up very quickly in both. I went back to see where he was ranked preseason and on many sheets he was not top 250. The guy is having a great year, and I'm interested to see where people will be ranking him overall and among 3rd basemen. Right now he is ranked 7th among 3rd basemen in mixed leagues on the espn player rater and cbs sportsline has him ranked 8th, but I personally don't see him in the top ten for next year. Your thoughts?

I'll have to agree with you.
You could consider Lowell's '07 his "best case scenario" for next year, which I don't think is highly likely at all. It's also a contract year for him this year, so he had a little extra to play for. If he leaves Boston (depending on where he goes), he certainly loses value.

Do you take Lowell before or after Adrian Beltre? Lowell's numbers put him a round and a half ahead of Beltre for this season, but I think Beltre is a TON more likely to replicate his numbers form this year than Lowell is. Lowell's .330 BA is a good 50 points higher than his career average. Now, maybe he's become a pro at plinking balls off the Green Monster, but this sounds like a BABIP fluke to me.
