Looking For New Host for League

Postby action0335 » Fri Sep 21, 2007 6:01 pm

Not sure what everyone uses for leagues, or if anyone else had as much trouble as our league had with TQ Stats. But they were an absolute disaster this year (I won't begin to tell you everything they screwed up on unless you really want to know, embarrassing).

We have all agreed to move to a different host and this is what we need:

-Determine players salaries

-allow 2 players to be contracted midseason, and 3 players to be contracted in offseason

-Make waiver and trades by individuals (commissioner reviewed), by rules we set

-Customize scoring to our standards

-Allow for draft each year, completely customizeable by us, and with only certain players becuase contracted players are held over.

-Set our own salary cap

Anyone have hosts that can fulfill this that you have had positive experiences with?

Thank you for anyone's help.

I empathize with your feelings on TQ Stats. We play H2H and Roto simultaneously. With TQ changes, this screwed us royally. We backed out of TQ, but after not finding another format to suit our needs, we actually bought back in.

While it was hell at the beginning of the year, I find that they have catered to us pretty good. You are far better off callign them, then emailing them. I think the changes they made (abeit late this year) have likely convinced us to stick it out another.

I actually worked my way up the TQ Staff list until we got some services that we wanted.

I do all that and more at FanStar, and they'll even let you set up a league for free to see if you like it.

Good luck! ;-D
