22 year old guy having sex with a 16 year old girl

Hi. Long time reader, first time poster.

I found this in a fitness forum.

A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? What would you do if your daughter was in this situation?

Rather than bring someone else into this world, we might just adopt so that someone can have a better life.

Raise your kids to the absolute best of your ability. Teach them goodness, pride, honor, discipline, respect and most importantly love. You make damned sure that kid knows how loved he/she is. After that, all you can do is trust the child/teenager and hope they make good decisions.

ive talked about this in the how to catch a predator thread, and i dont have a problem with this either. a 16 year old is DEFINITELY old enough (generally) to make a decision of this magnitude on her own by this time.

Here here, I have much respect for those who forgo having their own child in favor of improving the life of one that exists. I would never do it, because I can't imagine raising any sort of child, but more power to those that are better than me.
