Fire up the Bronco.... OJ's getting out on bail...

Postby Pacman » Wed Sep 19, 2007 11:37 am

OJ's being released on $125K bail, and has to surrender his passport within 24 hours....

All taking place in a Vegas courtroom....

But in light of past legal procedures involving OJ Simpson, perhaps they should have held the bail hearing at Circus Circus....

I wonder how he looks at himself in the mirror every day. He will go down as one of the biggest jokes in sports history.

At least they finally set bail for him. He was getting a raw deal.

I've never fully understand those that show more compassion for criminals than the victims. This in no way is an attack, I've just noticed it time and time again with a lot of your posts. Are you in criminal law or something?

(I'm not saying you dont' have compassion for the victims, just that you don't seem to express it)

I plenty of compassion for the victims, but nobody here is really talking about them. I also have compassion for the accused, which is all OJ is at this point. The only problem I have with the treatment OJ was getting in this case is that he was being held without bail for crimes that you or I would have had bail for. I'm not saying he's getting screwed by being arrested and charged, just that he was being shafted by being held without bail.

Also, how does he have $12,500 to post bail? Isn't he still giving all of his assets to the Goldmans?

He probably didn't pay for it himself. I'm sure he's got money hidden and protected all over the place that can't be traced directly back to him. He probably has a lot of his assets in his children's names too.
