Yeah, I'd like to remind everyone to consider the source. The drudge report is notorious for reporting everything with no regard to accuracy.

At least wait for this story to unfold before condemning the man.

People accuse politicans of things all the time. Bush was accused of rape and that turned out to be total fabrication. I suspect that this will as well.

actually, Drudge has an incredible track record for accurately breaking big stories before mainstream media will pick them up.

To say that he is a rightwing shrill is shortsighted. Maybe he is, but his stories are more often accurate than not.
