Since Selig sucks, who would you like to be Commish?

We need someone who can "clean up" baseball. Selig made his mess and someone will hopefully clean it up. We need someone who wont do anything useless, stupid, or for his own good.

With that said I nominate myself. jk ;-)

Someone knowledgeable, quick-witted, and fit to run a baseball league?

In that case, Joe Garagiola (Sr.) would be a perfect fit. ;-D

Yeah I think Gammons would be a good choice. Just as a side note, he looks like splinter from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Gammons would be an awful choice .... :-t

Joe Torre ... would be the best candidate, for those knowing his history :-D
Tommy Lasorda possibly... :-)
Pat Gillick also would be solid :-]

But my favorite choice for Commish would be Reggie Jackson .. ;-D

can't go wrong with Torre or Lasorda. i think its time we get an ex-player as commissioner. ex-player/manager would be even better
